Hi, my name is Joe Marshall.  My wife Melissa and I are church planters in Australia.  On October 31, 2004, we started the Gateway Baptist Church in Palmerston, Northern Territory, Australia.  We are graduates of Crown College and sent out of New England Baptist Church in W. Bridgewater, MA with the help of Baptist International Missions, Inc.

We are in Australia to plant independent Bible-believing Baptist Churches and to train national leadership to do the same. Our goal is to train national pastors and leave the work in their hands. The city of Darwin is the capital of the Northern Territory of Australia and has over 200,000 people consisting of over 125 nationalities. There is only one church of like faith in a 1500 to 2000 mile radius of our church.
